Last month, I was happy to be able to have some friends over from out of town to visit my home.

I haven’t seen them since we all graduated from high school and went our separate ways, and we all went to different schools and all and we just didn’t manage to keep in touch.

Now at this golden opportunity where many of my old buddies were able to come back out to our town, I genuinely invited them to come. I was the only one who decided to stay in our home town and they missed it here. We decided to go out to eat at one of the last standing eateries from back in the days. Everything else was new, but this old Mom and Pop shop was the best. I think the only thing new about the place was the update to their HVAC system which was very noticeable. The air quality improved tremendously too, I think because they installed a media air cleaner in the venue. So we ate and reminisced about the old times. When we went back to my place though, I was really embarrassed. It was warm in my house and I instantaneously went to look at the thermostat. I couldn’t believe it was eighty degrees inside and I couldn’t get the A/C system to work Luckily, one of my friends said he went to a trade school to get his HVAC certification, but he said he got certified but he never ended up actually working for any companies, he just did some contract job here and there. He was able to figure out the problem, which was a coolant leak. Because he was certified, he was able to get the right coolant and refill my A/C system. It was finally working perfectly after that!
