I couldn’t eat after something dripped on my plate from the HVAC vent

I don’t really believe that I am what you would consider a germaphobe.

When people talk about being scared of bacteria I am usually the one to just laugh about it.

Having obtained a microbiology degree I am not afraid of germs much. You have no idea really what is in your breathing air or on your body at any particular time. Let alone worrying about washing your hands a million times a day. However I am not afraid to eat food that has been out on the counter. I definitely don’t freak out if I get dirt in my mouth. There is a certain part of life that does tend to gross me out a bit though. Indoor air handling machines are a bacterial respite, because your indoor air handling machine is completely sucking up plus circulating your indoor breathing air and it usually accumulates a great deal of airborne contaminants… This is not limited to bacteria plus germs. There are mold plus dander spores moving around through your indoor air, happily taking a ride on the waves of your A/C machine plus forced air oil furnace. If you actually believe it’s gross at your residence, consider how filthy Heating, Ventilation plus A/C machines are in public venues. This is why I got up plus left a steakhouse the other day after the heating plus cooling machine easily contaminated my dinner. I was just hanging out at the table when I noticed a drip hitting my plate. When I looked up, I saw that the air HVAC duct overhead was dripping something directly onto my table. Considering all of the germs, human dander, plus hair that was definitely stuck inside of the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C machine… I was fast to abandon my plate plus head on home to eat something out of the fridge.
