Keeping the air clean inside my home

Ever since this virus has come around I have been a lot more concerned about my indoor air quality.

  • Even more so now that not only do I have a lot of guests that come over on a regular basis, but I am also frequented by family.

Some of these people that come over here are the elderly and small children and as a result I felt that it is only right to do what I can to keep everyone safe. In order to do this, I first contacted my local heating and cooling company, I needed to know my options about what I could do to improve my indoor air quality and make it a safe place for everybody. The HVAC tech on the phone suggested that I purchase some HEPA filters or a UV light to kill any germs or bacteria. I listened to what they said but decided to also do a little bit of research. I found that you could get a whole home air purification system and that it does an excellent job of cleaning and purifying the air. I ended up purchasing the whole home air purification system, and a HEPA filter. Within a week a HVAC tech had come out and installed them and it was working well. Then I changed some of the rules of my house, if people had to come over they needed to wear a mask and stay 6ft apart. I’m not the kind to impose rules on people, but all measures to keep everyone safe and virus free must be taken. It seemed to work too because when asking my guests what they thought, they felt more comfortable, especially the elderly.
