When my sibling purchased her property she was terribly excited that the master lavatory has underfloor heating.
I easily made the long flight to go visit her soon after she was settled in and she insisted that I use the master lavatory so I could care about the underfloor heating! That was 8 years ago, however a lot has changed in both of our lives since then.
I was married and now have a 4 year old daughter! My sibling settled down with a nice lady and they now rescue unwanted pet hedgehogs. My sibling and her partner have been requesting that we come to visit and I loved the sound of it. In all honesty, I was looking forward to using the master lavatory with the wonderful underfloor heating once again. However when we showed up to the place I found out that was not going to happen. Not because my sibling and my sibling-in-law were using it. No. I couldn’t use the lavatory with the underfloor heating entirely because the hedgehogs were living there. My sibling explained that the lavatory was absolutely perfect for the hedgehogs. Hedgehogs easily require a good amount of heating year round… She showed myself and others how the whole lavatory was easily full of cages. The hedgehogs even were able to free wander all over the nice heated floor every other night! One night for the girl hedgehogs and one night for the boys. I opened my mouth to say something about wasting the nice radiant heated floors on the hedgehogs but then I shut it before I said something that would annoy my sibling. After all, I make a good amount of sacrifices for my family. Is it genuinely so different that my sibling does the same for hers too?
