I have a friend who gets sunburned really easily.
This is why I am never too thrilled when he wants to come to the beach with me.
I always tell him to wear a ton of sunblock with a high SPF. He never listens or he gets the wrong sunblock that is not strong enough for his complexion. It seems like every single time we spend most of the day at the beach, he is burned to a crisp and I end up having to help him. We will typically go back to my place while I have my A/C system cranked up to the max. I actually have a really great HVAC system with a smart thermostat, so I don’t necessarily mind using my A/C to help my friend out. By the time we get to the household, it feels ice-cold and it’s wonderful after a long day at the beach. I just wish my buddy wasn’t so stupid all the time with his total lack of sun protection. There was even a time when he put on plenty of sunscreen, but then he got into the water right away and the sunscreen washed off! Sometimes I even have to call up other friends to come over and help him with the pain. They come over with drinks, aloe vera lotion, and movies for all of us to watch. It’s great hanging out with the crew, but my buddy acts like a total baby like he wants to cry because of his sunburns. Well, it’s his own fault, and all I can do his crank up the A/C and place him in front of the HVAC vents to help him out. That helps a great deal, but I still wish he would stop moaning from the pain.
