I suppose the cool days and days are pretty much gone as we make our way into Summer soon.

The great part about this is we will have bigger audiences while doing our shows in the street each week.

My friend and I just need to avoid the cops as they seem to come on a moment’s notice when some lonely angry person in their flat calls them. My friend and I can have an audience of 79 people clapping and dancing while we play, but if one person is unhappy with the songs the cops come and shut it all down. The Heating and A/C rep told me to have those 79 people call the cops and complain that they want us to play songs again at the local supplier shop like we were doing. I just don’t get the laws when it comes to playing songs in the streets in this town, aren’t songs a great thing for the world? Anyway, I am going to head out soon and visit my heating corp to see if they have any HEPA filters in my size yet. I have one, but it is on its last leg now and needs to be upgraded soon for the coming Summer season when I will be running the system a lot more. Today is Tuesday and I suppose the Heating and A/C supplier is open from noon to eight in the evening and it would be a great afternoon to grab the a/c filter so my guest coming tomorrow doesn’t have any dust sensitivity complications. Today is Monday and it is already moderately hot out while still in the morning part of the day. I suppose I’ll do this one article and then take a leisurely ride to the beach and just cherish the life I have carved out for myself. I just need to get my musical work where it needs to be and then it will all come together. I can envision in three years playing gigs as my lady and I travel around in our own RV while following the rest of the band in their RV and doing the songs we love. Air conditioned clubs in the Summer and heated resorts in the mountains in the winter time is where we would do our gigs. I know it is possible and we just need to put in the time and energy and the thing will come together as it is supposed to. I tried to do the same when I was an Heating and A/C tech with my comedy work but the art was too much for me, so I left it a few years ago and switched over to songwriting. Sometimes I feel like I am losing my mind with this weird lifestyle of strolling alone around the world searching for something, but I have to listen to my heart no matter where it guides me on this planet. It would have been simple to keep doing my local contractor work back in the States and just keep chasing money doing Heating and A/C repairs, but I would not have been true to my heart and certainly unhappy as a result. Listen to your heart and chase your dreams because passion minus action equals regret.

I suppose the humidity finally worked its way in the weather this week as I sit here perspiring as I type.

My neighbor Matt is going to be moving in with me in a few months, making it the third time we have lived together in the past 14 years of meeting.

My friend and I met at an open mic in NYC back in 2009 and have stayed friends ever since. He quit comedy and switched to songs years ago and plays the keyboard now, which is great because I also switched over to music and play the drums and sing. But air conditioning maintenance is how we make our money, mainly doing HVAC duct cleaning and repairs around where we live in our towns! It would be nice to have a seasoned neighbor to connect with as living here overseas can kind of isolate you, especially when you still can’t pick up what people are saying in their local dialect. I’ve been trying to learn the language at the local supplier shop but I suppose I need to get this local contractor to come and supply me with lessons to speed up the pace of learning. I will try to start enjoying films in Spanish only and start studying books as well in the same language. I suppose if I do that, within a year or so I will finally have the language mastered more or less. My Heating and A/C technician neighbor said she can help me learn it if I want, which we can work on while we do a/c repairs in homes around town and in other towns nearby.

What a great night of sleep I finally got last night. I was so sleepy from playing ball all afternoon with the locos after certainly little sleep the night before, so I ended up passing out around 11pm not to wake up till almost 10:30am. My friend and I are playing songs this week I suppose, and we will also go to a few of the beach bars to hand out some cards for our band to try and get in the rotation for entertainment. After playing ball last night I realized that my days are coming to an end with it. Heating and A/C maintenance keeps me going when I work for the local contractor each week, along with my two little crazy black cats, and I plan on doing the heating and cooling maintenance for two more years before cutting down my hours a bit more and working more with the songs pursuit. My neighbor is moving here from NYC in a few months and he is going to join our band as a keyboardist and we will see if there is any chemistry with him in the band. My sister Ashley is one of the best bakers I know.

In fact, I guess she is now even better than our Grandma.

It was our granny who taught us how to bake sweet treats plus cakes. My sister had more interest in it, however my head was always outside. I am more in to adventures, hiking, plus camping. She bakes organic treats, plus sells them in odd markets. My sister also bakes for events plus private shoppers. Last summer, she was baking cupcakes for a anniversary plus asked for my help. She asked for my help, plus I went to her home so we’d get the order done! Unluckyly, just as my buddy and I were tied up at work, her A/C failed. Imagine operating an oven in a home separate from a/c. I must admit there was a moment where I almost left to find a locale with AC. However, my sister set out two portable cooling units to keep us cool, come to find out, she hadn’t had any A/C repair done in three years. I knew this was the reason her A/C had failed. I get she is always busy, however that was no excuse to neglect her AC. I hoped she’d not need to pay for A/C updatement, plus it was only a repair issue. My friend and I forged on plus managed to complete the orders thanks to the portable cooling systems.
