AC for hair

I know it’s a silly thing to get upset about, but sometimes my hair really ruins my day.

  • There are mornings that I wake up and simply can’t get it to do anything that I want.

Honestly, there are days that I can’t even get my stupid head of hair too freaking dry! I live in a fairly hot and humid region of the country, and there are times of the year that my hair is inherently wet. I get out of the shower, and can’t entice my hair to release its moisture, no matter what I try to do. I stand in the bathroom for what seems like an hour with my hair dryer far overhead, but my hair never feels like it gets any dryer. Instead, I just make the room a lot hotter and more humid with the lingering steam from my shower. In order to combat my terrible mornings of battling wet hair, I decided to have a second cooling system installed in the bathroom with an accompanying dehumidification system. I figured, it made the most sense to add more cooling and drying power to the space where I need it the most. Now, when I get out of the shower in the morning my air conditioning unit and dehumidifier have already been chugging along for 20 or 30 minutes. The air is already very cool and dry, so when I start utilizing my hairdryer there isn’t too much warm moisture trapped in the room for it to be effective. I can finally dry my thick head of hair, and get out the door in a matter of minutes. I’m really glad that this cooling system scheme works, or else I was probably going to shave my head.
