I have been in a bit of a tomato for a few months now; A while ago, I had to leave my prior residing situation in a hurry, but i wound up staying with some close friends of mine.
I’m severely grateful that they have given myself and others a place to live and I’ve been able to continue working my task and trying to sort things out in this unregular city, and without these amazing humans I would have had to transfer back home, and that has really not in the plan.
I am much happier residing in this section and climate after that I was residing in the Midwest. I can’t sit the horrific Winters, brutal wind chill, and necessity of a big forced air heating system for most of the year, then these nights, I’m much happier residing in the warm south and soaking up the Sun. That being said, obviously my residing situation could use some improvement. I care about residing with my friends legitimately much, even though I believe that I must be wearing on their nerves… Similarly, there are some things that are challenging to myself and others in return. As appreciative as I am, I wish that I could rely more on my roommates to keep up with certain things around the house. Oftentimes, I come lake house to find that the thermostat was left blasting on full power all day, the entire apartment is cold cold, and I have no option however to waste our costly air conditioned air I opening a few windows to let the temperature even out. Other times, the apartment is cold because the two of us can’t operate the heating system, and more than once, my roomies have forgotten to spend money the gas bill, leaving us without any source of heat in the winter. I owe these people my life, even though I wish they could manage our heating and cooling method more responsibly.
