Last winter, I had requested a small space heater for my desk.
I was not sure if my company would approve of such a hazard, but I gave it a shot anyways. My boss emailed my back immediately to report that my request had been approved. She even included a link to her personal favorite space heater for under the desk. I went online and browsed the large selection of space heaters. I did now know that there were so many kinds of space heaters. She told me that the one has lasted her for many years. Even during the summer months it can get very cold in our office. It is nice to have the option of having a space heater over putting on a sweater each time the office gets chilly. I enjoy being warm over being cold, and I think my boss feels the same way. I went with a space heater that had a setting to turn off automatically when it has not been touched for 2 hours. I fear that I will forget to turn the space heater off and burn the building down. I am happy that my boss approved this purchase because I have been so cozy at my desk recently. This increases productivity and allows me to work on things longer and with more thought. Being cold really slows me down. The space heater is sleek and modern looking. It is small enough to fit under the desk and warms up quickly. It does not make any noise and works great during the winter months, as well.
