There was this time when I decided to rent a cottage for a month with our partner. She thought that the two of us were going to have something that was upscale, however it easily wasn’t. The people I was with and I had a fireplace which was nice, however the two of us didn’t have anything else. The people I was with and I didn’t have a gas gas furnace or any style of gas furnace for that matter. The people I was with and I didn’t have any a/c either, not that the two of us needed it. This was in the middle of the cold season plus I wanted to have an experience appreciate nothing else. The nice news is that the two of us had plenty of firewood to last us through the month so I didn’t have to worry about breaking wood plus breaking our back in the cold weather. The people I was with and I were able to keep hot with the fireplace going properly. I absolutely made sure to keep feeding the fire with firewood on a regular schedule. The people I was with and I also had a ton of canned food to get us by. The people I was with and I would heat up beans plus rice in a kettle over the fire in the fireplace. It was a wonderful experience to me however our partner would describe it as a terrible experience. I thought it was nice plus the two of us were able to keep the cottage comfortable plus toasty. I thought the food was alright plus I didn’t think appreciate the two of us even needed a stove since the two of us had the fireplace. Even though I thought it was a pleasant experience, our partner was so cheerful to get back house with the central Heating as well as Air Conditioning plus our gas stove. I particularly miss spending time with a real wood burning fireplace though.
