One of our favorite activities for our task is writing newsletters.
Newsletters are fun due to the fact that there are lots of interesting things to write about, plus, it’s not exactly physically strenuous work.
Well, at least that’s what I thought until I had to do a whole bunch of writing when the Heating plus Air Conditioning was on the fritz, i live in the south, so air conditioning is a must for the biggest part of the year. There might be a couple of weeks where air conditioning is unnecessary, however generally speaking if all of us are alive, all of us are using the air conditioning. Well, I have a bunch of writing to accomplish by a particular date, and when I sat down at the computer, I was able to notice a slow trickle of sweat running down the center of our back. This is not normal, and I thought perhaps I had forgotten to turn the control unit setting down when I got home from the office. I went to the hallway to check, and I discovered that although the control unit was set on 83 degrees, it was absolutely 80 degrees in the house. I thought perhaps the air conditioning just needed a bit of time to catch up to the demand, so I didn’t worry too much! However, it became decreasingly taxing to concentrate on our writing when the air conditioning was sticking out its tongue in my direction, after about two hours of the air conditioning seeming to be less and less effective, I finally had to call the heating and cooling corporation. They busy an Heating plus Air Conditioning service call for the next afternoon, and I gave up writing for the night!
