It’s always so difficult to deal with a loved one who is suffering.
I know that for me, I just feel so helpless in those situations.
However most times, it’s just love, care and compassion that is most needed. Still, I really there are times when I am simply itching to at least do something for a loved one who is hurting. An HVAC solution was something that I could give my ailing wife just recently. It’s been almost six months since my wife was involved in a really terrible car accident. Honestly, I am just thankful that she is still on the planet much less laid up in our HVAC controlled house. Yet, she has had to undergo a series of surgeries that have required lots of rest and healing when she’s not doing the PT to help mend her body. So that has been a lot of time in the bed for her. And while I am very attentive, there is only so much time I’m available. That led me to find a solution to her HVAC comfort problem. During the day, she really needed to manage the HVAC as the heat during the day climbed. Getting up and down to move the thermostat was not an option. But having a smart thermostat installed was just the answer. This way she could adjust the HVAC setting from the app on her phone. It was actually just that easy. Now, I know that my wife will at least have the best temperature for her while she rests and heals from a life changing bad break.
