You need to worry about the cooling, too

When doing renovations I always do everything I can to keep as much original as I can. Some things have to be substituted, modified, or just completely unfastened, however I try to maintain as much of the original feel plus look of each home I enter. Buildings have personality, so you don’t want to fool around with that too much, if you can help it. If the place is that much of a wreck it needs a total gutting then I just try to pass on the project. I prefer giving facelifts, so to speak, not a complete transplant! Whenever it comes to really aged buildings, there is often a problem going on with the heating plus cooling system. First of all I have to say that when it comes to using gas furnaces, these aged buildings have some of the best you will ever see. Back in the day, people wanted a gas furnace they could rely on for their whole life, plus I know some of these things are aged tech however still work great, but cooling systems, certainly, are a peculiar story, because up-to-date Heating & A/C cooling tech has evolved so rapidly. There are systems that are 12 or 15 years aged that still work fairly well for people, however in general I see a lot of systems that have to be replaced every few years. I have a dedicated team of Heating & A/C techs who always handle that area of the job!
