I honestly didn’t know where I was going with my life after high school.
I ended up going to the local community college and I just took classes that sparked my interest.
Some of my buddies were doing the same thing and we would commonly hangout before and after classes. It’s kind of funny how it all worked out. One of our buddies said he was thinking about going to an HVAC trade school and we all thought it sounded like the perfect idea. We realized that if we worked hard, we could achieve the knowledge we needed to earn our HVAC certifications. So we did, we all got into this. We all had a huge party on the day that we passed our tests for certification. We ended up going to work at the same HVAC company as well. It seems that these days, most places are hiring HVAC professionals. HVAC professionals will always be in high demand too because HVAC systems are everywhere and they need to be maintained. So we all went into training with open minds and the eagerness to learn everything we could. The experience was invaluable and we have come a long way with our careers. The money has been amazing, but things became so much better when we all opted to start up our own professional HVAC business. We started with just the group of us and we have been doing this for years. We are of course thinking about expanding our business because we are always swamped these days, but it’s a blessing that business is booming.
