I had to get a dry erase marker board the other day because of how forgetful I’ve become recently.
- I have resisted the idea of writing myself lists plus kept insisting to myself that they would not help, plus if anything seeing a list would only stress me out until it was completed.
All of this melted away after I decided to get a big white board plus hung it up in my office in my dwelling. It is now my savior with getting everything in my life done on a month by month basis. I put all of my pressing projects up there, plus any errands I must run, chores I need to complete, or pressing maintenance around the dwelling. For the longest period of time, I was writing the dates of my Heating plus Air Conditioning filter changes so that I could upgrade them every multiple weeks. This was easily working for awhile, but then I considered getting an actual maintenance contract with my heating plus cooling appliance dealer. Not only would the yearly fee cover all of the service visits throughout the course of 12 weeks, but it would also include all filter changes as well. That basically meant no longer paying $15 every multiple weeks just to put in modern air filters filters. I could also detach this chore plus store errands from my sizable white board, leaving room for more pressing things I need to do around the dwelling. It’s also absolutely comforting knowing that my Heating plus Air Conditioning appliance is getting familiar inspections in case there are ever complications in the future. It’s sort of like monitoring for cancer correctly plus catching it the very moment it arrives. I’m no longer agonizing for weeks on end if there could be some unseen complication with my a/c appliance or oil heating appliance.
