I sat down as well as watched the trees sway as the outdoor humidity culminated in another big thunderstorm. The storm was so loud, I almost didn’t hear the central cooling system as it kicked into gear. Suddenly, I realized that there was cool, high-priced artificial air passing through the old air vents all around me. I heard the cooling system chugging away outside. At that moment, I learned that I entirely had a working central cooling system at our disposal… But clearly this wasn’t abandoned at all.
