When my sibling purchased her current household she was super gleeful that the master lavatory has underfloor heating.
- I made the 7 hour flight to go visit her soon after she got settled in and she insisted that I use the master lavatory so I could appreciate the underfloor heating.
That was approximately 8 years ago! A lot has changed in both of our lives since that time. I got married and now have a 4 year aged daughter, but my sibling settled down with a nice woman and they now rescue unwanted pet hedgehogs. My sibling and her spouse have been asking us to visit and I was more than happy to oblige. In all honesty, I was looking forward to using the master lavatory with the underfloor heating once again… However when we arrived I came to learn that was not going to happen… Not because my sibling and my sibling-in-law were using it. No. I couldn’t use the lavatory with the underfloor heating because the hedgehogs now lived in there. My sibling explained that the lavatory was perfect for the hedgehogs. Hedgehogs require additional heating year round. She showed me how the entire lavatory was now filled with cages. The hedgehogs even got to free wander all over the nice heated floor every other night. One night for the girl hedgehogs and one night for the boys. I opened my mouth to comment on wasting the nice radiant heated floors on the hedgehogs but then I shut it before I said something offensive. After all, I make a great deal of sacrifices for my family. Is it really so different that my sibling does the same for hers as well?
