For multiple amazing weeks I got to see how the other half lived… I was honestly a jet setter, living the high life, fortunate enough to land a great man with a seemingly endless trust fund plus the desire to see plus do everything he could.
It was beyond breathtaking, plus even at the best moments I knew it couldn’t last – you know, easy come, easy go, as they say.
So, when the whirlwind ended, I had to option up the pieces of our aged life plus start over again. I had sort of up plus left without notice, so getting our job back at the distant Heating & A/C contractor wouldn’t be easy, then this is a really competitive industry to jump into, plus area of the reason I quit without notice is that I knew there were a few dozen other Heating & A/C techs waiting to take our spot. I didn’t entirely screw over our beloved boss, plus it turns out that he didn’t carry a grudge about it, either! He actually told me that he couldn’t blame me for quitting as an Heating & A/C tech to run off with a great man and a great life, but so it turned out that getting our aged job back was easier than anticipated. So, now I have to adjust to doing the 9 to 5 Heating & A/C shift work again, like the old days. I prefer our coworkers plus I prefer Heating & A/C work in general, however it’s super difficult not to pine for those multiple weeks where I literally didn’t have to do anything. It was a real life of leisure, plus I miss it, however at least Heating & A/C work will keep the basic bills paid plus the lights on.
